What would be cool? A place where people like you can gather and make fun of other people, to make you feel better about yourself?

What would ticket prices be? Can I get them on Stubhub or do I have to interact with some fat tard who never paid attention in school.

The kiosks are nothing new. They’ve been around since the mall opened in ‘97.

Maybe not new but the type of people running them have changed. Used to be sub-par sales people who were probably trying to make minimum wage. Now they are 99% arrogant foreigners who get in your face and then get pissed when you don't want to hear their pitch and buy their CRAP.

I bet if the mall had special hours where those kiosks were closed, 90% of the shoppers would go then.

I hate the mall and those people are one of the top 3 reasons.

I’ll miss Dillard’s. The rest of the mall makes me sad.

I go to Dillard's like once a year if I need something last minute but going to the mall is depressing. I'm sure if you grew up in the 90's around Lafayette you will have fond memories of it but now it's just trashy fat people everywhere.

I'm with you on the kiosks. Super annoying.

They're not making any money? Guess them laid-off oil baws can't afford all them shiny jeans and ed hardy style shirts from The Buckle no more...

100% accurate.

All the baws immediately resort to Buckle or Express to pretend they're professional.

I go to WalMart weekly so I’m quite accustomed to this. By comparison, the mall isn’t bad at all.

I remember it very fondly.
Top memories from the 90s at Acadiana mall:
- seeing Sandlot. I loved that theatre.
- Aladdin’s Castle
- the opening of Foot Action, right across from TGIF

And Sbarro. The first place I recall with giant slices of pizza.

Things I enjoyed at Acadiana Mall back in the 80's:
- puppet shows
- the waterfall at the center Court
- Reagan's Racket tennis store
- going up to the third flow of DH Holmes and looking out over the city (I think it was D H Holmes back then)

I've never heard of that place but after a quick google I don't think I will be able to get my large horse polos there. For some reason I always forget about those local places, not a huge fan of Brothers.

This is 100% accurate. I went to the Mall of LA a few months ago with my mother. Neither of us had been in forever so we didn’t know the location of the stores we were looking for/. This caused us to walk back and forth across the small a few times and those bastards got fiesta after we passed them a few times. One even walked up to me and got in my face saying she could do something about the problem with my skin. I didn’t even know I was having a problem with my skin. Rude frickers.

Goddamn, I'm getting all sentimental and shite. Going to the mall to see Santa as a kid, catching a snack at that cafe where the waterfall was or the food court and seeing a puppet show before or after was the tits.
