That first video is freaking scary.
So I take it that they had no idea that this was coming? No mini-eruptions or anything?

Compares this eruption to Krakatoa
You really are a moron. I’m saying that if that eruption had that much effect, and there have definitely been others since, 60 times even a “normal” eruption, every year, would literally blot out the the sun.

This argument that human-caused carbon emissions are merely a drop in the bucket compared to greenhouse gases generated by volcanoes has been making its way around the rumor mill for years.
And of course there's no link provided to this BS.

LINK
More pictures including aerial views of the volcano, fire fighting blazes started by the lava, and several first person accounts.
I liked the one where half the people were running up the mountain because they were afraid of tsunamis and the other half were running towards the sea because they were afraid of the lava.

Interesting.
A Stromboli once caused a volcanic like eruption in my anus.

Yeah but I gotta be comfortable in my 18 ton truck

And the volcano has an eruption style named after it.

Way to confuse the effect of krakatoa’s ash cloud -which caused the cooling- with greenhouse gasses. Can’t verify the original 60x claim, but you’re comparing 2 different things.

Volcano is on USA right now. Too soon.

You don’t think volcanoes release massive amounts of CO2 in the air as well?
