Said it all year, but the margin between 0-2 and getting to Omaha is super fine for this team. We have 3 pitchers that on any given day could go 6 scoreless innings and 2 bullpen arms that can be shutout as well. Or they can give up 6 runs in the 2nd inning.
On offense, we will hit home runs, just depends on whether they are solo shots or 3 runners.

We got spoiled with great SS play for 15 years, but it has been awful since Gonzales left
Forget 3 true outcomes, we are the 2 true outcome team. Either a HR or a strikeout. The margin for us between 2 runs and 9 is like 2 swings on any given day

Top 3 batters are a combined 6-43 on the weekend and each of them has gotten 2 hits in different games - so basically 2 guaranteed outs in the top 3 every time
Not sure why Ole Miss hasn’t changed the schedule. No chance of playing after 6:30

Ok, we needed a 5 run comeback in the 9th to beat Texas game 1 so you cant say losing that series was unlucky :lol: . Definitely might have won with a healthy Townsend, but who knows.

Nah, but they should adopt the limits on throwing to first and making a pitcher face 3 batters.

The bright side is we are 5-7 in conference and solidly on track - only conference series losses are to top 5 teams.
But, it took 2 wild 9th innings to avoid 3-7. Feels like fools gold.

If I had a nickel for every ole miss AD that was way too active on Twitter I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

Furniss has just shown 0 improvement since he got on campus. Fun power but nothing else.
Do any of y’all remember the wins over bama with less excitement because they were vacated later? I sure don’t lol. Game still happened. We still won. Could not care less.
