He should make it clear that his first 2 lines of defense are:
#1 - he asked for it; I did my best to give him what he asked for without killing him (he asked to be shot in the head but that's much too for me).
#2 - the mayor asked for tourists to act like New Orleanians; I was just trying to comply. How do the police tend to not solve crimes in New Orleans so I can try to do better if it happens again?
Another alternative - If he wasn't wearing a mask - it was an attempted warning shot to keep him away due to Covid.

I’m my experience, during a disturbance with a homeless person, it’s alway the homeless person initiating contact and being the aggressor. Ole baw was probably just defending himself and his mother.

Was the victim wearing a Mask? This is the only question I have because if he was closer than 6 feet away than we have a legal defense to this shooting called the LaToya Defense because he breached his 6 ft protocols.
