A large alligator at a range of 3 yards:

A stalking bear at a range of 50 yards.

A mountain lion/puma at a range of 60 yards.

An American Bison at a range of 30 yards:

A Burmese Python at a range of 12 yards.

A progressive totalitarian/angry activist at a range of 10 yards.

The American bison is routinely underestimated in its ability to wreck your shite.

Could have been an interesting thread, until you tried to make it funny.

For me it’s a tossup between the gator and the bear, only because of the gator’s proximity. If you can get away from the gator, it will find something else to do quickly. However the bear will be after your arse until YOU quit.

Ones I can't take:
Bear/Bison/Python/MLion

I can't really rank the Gator. Am I in the water? Dry land with trees around? Terrain matters a lot more with it.

Ones I could take:
Karen/Progs

Bear can literally kill you with 1 swipe of it's paw. I'll go with that.

The bear. Other than the bison and the bear, the gun I carry will make short work of everything else. I figure the bison's gonna be all "don't start none, won't be none" and we'd be cool.

The bear would get me and eat me.

I’ve spent a lot of time on Ted turner’s ranches in New Mexico. There are massive bison herds. The bison is easily the answer. They can be aggressive, but it’s entirely defensive. They aren’t predators.

The bear comes in first. Bears can run a lot faster than what most think. And the thought of being mauled by one doesn't help.

Bison comes in second. Agree with the other poster about people underestimating them.

Cougar comes in third. You'll never see him coming until its too late.

I've been bitten by a cougar before. It wasn't entirely unpleasant.

Also, cougars come first, if you know what's good for you.
