Years ago, some jerk at a brand new EXXON station in BR failed my brake tag test because of emissions. He stuck a big orange sticker on my windshield. A mechanic at another place said it would be $600 to fix what was wrong. I scraped off the orange sticker and took it to the local gas station in BFE and passed inspection.

Yeah, I've seen anecdotes about Brits taking down those cameras pop up from time to time, but didn't know they were sort of organizing and have been as active as they are.
Apparently, the cat and mouse game has escalated with the mayor trying to mount cameras on vans and deploying the vans covertly around the city. In turn, the Blade Runners have taken to covering or breaking the van cameras and even slashing the tires, as well as trying to form proactive networks to warn others where the vans attempt to hide.

A group should start doing this to the banks of cameras in Lafayette, vermillion and other parishes being installed by a private individual for his benefit selling footage to insurance companies and other groups using the info for various reasons. He says it helps fight crime, but completely private entity profiting off images of individuals
