Take up homebrewing... it's not especially challenging... and there is a lot of sitting around on brew days, so it's not all that exciting... then you have to wait a few weeks for the beer to be ready... but... you get beer!

Start playing tennis regularly. Even if you're athletic, it takes a while to get pretty good.

Start playing golf. Stick with it. Go to the range everyday after work, play on weekends. If you have an obsessive personality like me this will be a challenge you can jump in and get addicted to. It's frustrating as hell but pretty rewarding the first time you break 100, then 90...still working on breaking 80 four years later.

Meet a couple guys you enjoy playing with, talk trash, make modest bets, etc.

Suck a dick. I know it's exciting when my wife does it!

In all seriousness, you are just like the other guy who recently lost a gf. Just get out and market yourself. Don't dwell on the past no matter how amazing it was. I'll give you the same advice I gave other dude. If you sulk about it, you will just make yourself physically and emotionally unattractive to any potential suitors.

As far as entertainment, just go out and go to some music concerts, or go to an amusement park.

Come to Colorado and climb, ski, and mountaineer with me bro

You won't want to smoke anymore as your lungs will constantly be getting their arse kicked at altitude. You will feel fulfilled and accomplished. You will meet awesome women who share similar interests in the process
