I actually side with China on something

quote:

The Education Ministry plans to beef up gym classes after a top official said female teachers and pop culture had made boys “weak, inferior and timid.”

quote:

HONG KONG — Government officials in China believe that boys are getting more effeminate and want to toughen them up.

In the latest attempt to tackle what academics and news outlets call a “masculinity crisis,” the Education Ministry has proposed emphasizing the “spirit of yang,” or male attributes, by hiring more sports instructors and redesigning physical education classes in elementary and secondary schools.

The plan, a response to a top official’s call to “prevent the feminization of male youths,” was released last week. It included no timeline and few other details, but it prompted an outcry online and is still stirring fierce debate on social media. One hashtag has been viewed 1.5 billion times on Weibo, a popular microblogging platform.

Khrushchev's famous "We will bury you." line is amended to our generation with regard to China: "Our shitty Western culture will make you bury yourself".

Meanwhile here in the US people are still screaming "toxic masculinity!" at the top of their lungs.

This crisis happened all across the west, and I think has a lot to do with diet. And the shift to industrialized food. It’s the plastics, the hormones, it’s the chemicals in what we’re eating.

Testosterone levels are public health crisis. And I do mean that, low levels of testosterone compromise male cognition.

It wouldn’t surprise me if China has the same exact problem, for the same exact reasons. They industrialized so rapidly though, it hit them a lot faster.

I agree with all of this.

Is the pendulum starting to swing the other way, with more organic/non-processed foods in demand lately?

That is why I scream "toxic femininity" back.

I think we’re grasping at the solution, but I don’t think we understand specifically what’s wrong, if that makes sense.

What if plastics are an across the board toxin? We drink from plastic lines cups everyday. The food we buy from the store is wrapped in plastic. We use plastic utensils. That milk jug, has a plastic lining.

If plastics are a problem, you’d have to work hard to avoid them.

I refuse to apologize for being a man. I love competition, victory, knowledge, reason, excellence, gorgeous women, sex, sports, success, and other pursuits which are apparently verboten now.

The young girls in Asia (and half the ones in the U.S.) worship those effeminate boy bands. That's what China needs to get rid of.

Also, the majority of educators in America (especially Elementary) are women. They've created education for women. Little boys are forced into this system, created by women, for women.

Coupled with the plastics and lack of testosterone = trouble for men.

If the little boy can't learn like a little girl, that just proves how far spread toxic masculinity truly is.

It's amazing how prescient Sommers was with that book.

In elementary school we had two recess periods to run around, plus an afternoon sports session.

I assume that was designed for the boys. Without that, I don’t think we could have sat still in class.

Do schools still do that?

When we shifted to Industrialized foods, our faces actually changed.

This image shows normal, vs what has become so common.

It all happened overnight, so it’s not genetic. It points to how serious the problem is.
