That's great advice.

I'll have to remember to not ask all of my transgender friends and acquaintances which parts they still have.

I should have definitely been born in the 19th century, because I'm scared of this modern world I live in today.

I'd say severely altering your body is caused by some type of distress
Not all trans people alter their bodies, and when they do, it's usually to relieve distress they feel by their bodies not matching their gender identity. A lot of that distress comes from the way other people react to them and the mismatch between their bodies and gender.

I agree in general that severe body alterations should be done with extreme caution and after extensive thought and discussions with the individual's team of medical professionals (primary care, psychologist, psychiatrist, endocrinologist, surgeon, etc).

Yeah I think there's a semantic problem. IMO gender noncongruence sounds a lot like a disorder of some kind and I don't think it's a horrible thing to label it that.

Also, I am now identifying as a poor person. Regardless of what my actual income is, I identify as a person with 7 children and I make less than 20,000 a year so I'd appreciate some tax breaks.

What do we call this identity? I've been feeling this way for a while.

i don't recall saying it does. to be clear, i am not offended by gayness and i don't particularly care if gay folks marry. i have a problem when people put a calico dress on a pig and call it Florence, and then demand that i acknowledge that Florence is a human because she identifies as such.

If a naturally born female is offended by me calling her "she" then it's all on her.

Isn't female a word referring to the sex of a person?

Even if his appearance is one of a bearded, muscular man with chest hair? Certainly not all trans men appear like that, but many do.

Here's my point, boss. When I see that person from the article, I'm gonna go out on a limb and take a massive gamble.....by assuming they are female. Call me ignorant if you will. Now, this person doesn't agree with that. They're either a complete idiot, or being intellectually dishonest. Because, she is the correct word to use.

Surely you can agree with this, no? If dogs learn to talk, and are as ridiculous as these people, I won't like them either. I don't give a shite what someone identifies as it is of likes or fricks. But people this ridiculous can kiss my arse.

Maybe it's more accurately called an "abnormality" since it's certainly a deviation from what's normal.

It's not just a deviation from "normal". It's a deviation from evolution, from biology and from science. Hence, it's a mental disorder.

I'm pretty sure nobody gives a rat's arse what this special lil snowflake "identifies" as. It is just another way for snowflake to proclaim their snowflake status and to entitle them to be offended when they are not addressed as their gender of the day.

Lots of these snowflakes claim to be "gender fluid" meaning they change their minds on what sex/gender/orientation they are on a day by day basis.

I grew up among many LGBT people and they think this current crop of LGBT BSers are ridiculous and that these whiny arse dumb@zzes ought to be ashamed of themselves because they are setting back the LGBT community in a bad situation with their entitled, assholey, aggressive and bullying behavior.

The idea of "non binary gender" or "gender queer" or whatever gives me a head ache. The best sense that I can make of it is that these people have an issue with the social expectations of the gender that they were born into, so they make up a gender rather than alter their personal expectations of the gender that they are.
