which is fine
I just don't understand why people get triggered if you call it what it is, and that is a defect/malfunction/illness of some kind

we put a stigma and treat people for mental illness when they disassociate with their arms or legs
why is a penis different?

I wouldn't have any problem asking him if he still had a dick. That would probably be the first thing I'd ask. I wouldn't expect most people to bring that up, so I think he is blowing it out of proportion majorly.
I'm an a-hole, so that's my excuse

Uhm, I'm not sure many people deny this. We're aware that these peoples' brains have developed differently. We're saying no matter how fricked their brain is, it doesn't change what they are.

Is she not an acceptable word to reference a female?

quote:Yes, society tends to place a stigma on mental disorders and mental illnesses, but should it? I think it's a net negative because it prevents us from treating people who suffer from disorders/illnesses with compassion.

We don't place a stigma on getting cancer or losing a limb. It would be absurd to perceive someone negatively because something has happened to them beyond their control.
Why should it be different for mental issues? If a person's identity is male, we should accept them for being male, even if they have a vagina. Insisting that they conform to their genitals is only going to cause them pain and suffering, because it's forcing them to live in a way incongruent with how they sincerely feel.
We should accept them because it's just who they are.

What if they want to be a Zebra or a Leopard? Should society treat them as such and those people who don't should they be charged for discrimination and labeled as a bigot?

no, I don't think so either
but nothing is wrong with acknowledging the mental illness or disorder
that is my only gripe with the trans movement
why is it wrong to acknowledge that these people have a disorder?

There are like 50 different words to describe people now. I have no idea wtf they mean either. Then, these tards say they don't like labels, but always seem to come up with some obscure, made up word to label themselves as.
It should be:
I like dudes
I like chicks
I like both
I'm a dude
I'm a chick
I'm a tranny
I don't understand what is so hard about that

Is she not an acceptable word to use when referencing a female?

no, I don't think so either

LINK
quote:
A psychological state is considered a mental disorder only if it causes significant distress or disability. Many transgender people do not experience their gender as distressing or disabling, which implies that identifying as transgender does not constitute a mental disorder. For these individuals, the significant problem is finding affordable resources, such as counseling, hormone therapy, medical procedures and the social support necessary to freely express their gender identity and minimize discrimination. Many other obstacles may lead to distress, including a lack of acceptance within society, direct or indirect experiences with discrimination, or assault. These experiences may lead many transgender people to suffer with anxiety, depression or related disorders at higher rates than nontransgender persons.
According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), people who experience intense, persistent gender incongruence can be given the diagnosis of "gender dysphoria." Some contend that the diagnosis inappropriately pathologizes gender noncongruence and should be eliminated. Others argue that it is essential to retain the diagnosis to ensure access to care. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) is under revision and there may be changes to its current classification of intense persistent gender incongruence as "gender identity disorder."
Maybe it's more accurately called an "abnormality" since it's certainly a deviation from what's normal. But IMO there's nothing inherently wrong with that, I think most people deviate from what's normal in at least some ways.

Who gives a shite what you identify as?
These people are so stupid.
But hey, if they want complete equality across the board, I'm all for it.
If all the white people at LSU now identify as black can we get LSU deemed a historically black college, the shut down Southern because we don't need both of them in BR.
Also, I am now identifying as a poor person. Regardless of what my actual income is, I identify as a person with 7 children and I make less than 20,000 a year so I'd appreciate some tax breaks.
In the mornings between 530 and 7 am I identify as a dog. So I will be pissing and shitting outdoors in public. Don't worry, I'll pick it up in a plastic bag after 7 when I'm human again.
