Getting in an elevator in B'ham and there's Dean Malenko and Chris Beniot. As Beniot is getting out he say "you look like you're going to the fricking prom". I held my reply until after the door had closed.

My buddies and I were having drinks with our scuba guide at the Soggy Dollar in St Maarten. Liam Neeson had just flown in and he came over for a drink while they loaded his stuff on the boat to go to his yacht. He knew our scuba guide so he came over and spoke and introduced himself and bought the next round and shot the shite with us for a few minutes. However he didn’t invite us on his yacht. What an arse (sarcasm he seemed pretty chill for a movie star)!

Since Bubba is popular on here I will tell this one as it's pretty funny.

Went to the tournament in NOLA 2014 (or 15) and it was right after Bubba had won the Masters. I was at the Masters the year he won. The girl I was with brought a Master's hat I bought her and a pink marker specifically to get him to sign the hat. She was a big Bubba fan. Whatever.

We follow him and he finishes his round and starts to sign autographs at the circle drive in front of the clubhouse where they have barricades set up. I walk her over and point to a gap in the crowd of 90% kids and say "stand there." She says No and goes to the very end of the line of people. Obviously, people are stepping into the gaps along the barricade so we are there for a while. He finally makes it to our end and is at the kid before us. We are THE LAST people in line. Just as he signs for the kid, his caddie taps him on the shoulder and he turns and walks away. Now I get that he sets a time limit and adheres to it, I would do the same thing. But we are the last people standing there.

I start laughing my arse off as she is standing there with the Master's hat, pink marker and a stunned look on her face. He looks back at us, shrugs and walks off. Needless to say, she was livid and I tried to tell her the story was better than any autograph. She threw the marker in the trash, put the hat in her purse and HATES Bubba to this day.

I think it's funny that the topic of the thread is to talk about a-hole celebrities and over half of the thread is dedicated to when celebrities demonstrated they are nice decent humans.

Always thought the notion of putting celebrities of any sort on a pedestal was a bit odd. You shouldn't look up to anyone because of the type of work they do. Should be based on their character alone. But it's also nice to see that celebrities that aren't trash, because the general public does seem to treat them differently.

A few years ago me and some friends went to see ACDC in Memphis. One of the wives wanted to go see the ducks at that hotel where they come down the elevator. We are watching the ducks and lo and behold, who is sitting at the bar but Brian Johnson, lead singer of ACDC. We go over and have a few drinks with him. He is a hoot. Talks just like he "sings". He invited us to some Irish pub but we didn't go. Really cool guy

Not an a-hole story but a cool one nonetheless, at least to me.

It was 1990 or 1991 during Desert Shield, and I was in the Marine Corps stationed in Sheik Isa airbase in Bahrain (VMFA-314 if any one gives a shite). One day, I was eating lunch with my sergeant in the Bahraini chow hall. We were running 12 hour shifts plus changeover, seven days a week, and we are brain dead. While staring at our food eating, someone sits down on the other side of the bench. We didn't even look up from our food, until we hear "Hi, can I sit with you" in a woman's voice. We looked up into Brooke Shields' eyes. She sat down and had lunch with us. She said we looked most in need of some company. She was there with Bob Hope's USO tour. She chatted with us for about a half hour. She is absolutely beautiful in real life, and I remember she was incredibly friendly. Whether forced or not on her part, she was very charming and personable.
