Amazon prime is useless these days. Prices are higher, shipping is slower, most items are third party, and tons of Chinese temu crap to sift through.
I cancelled prime long ago and generally find items from other places are cheaper and ship faster

There are plenty of next day, 2 day and 3 day deliveries anytime I search for something.
I suppose like you said it depends where you live. I'd also imagine it depends on how common the item is.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe they changed routing for Lake Charles in anticipation of the new fulfilment center by the Cameron-Chloe exit opening soon and this is just a gap until that happens because it's only been an issue for the last 2 or 3 weeks.

Most things seem to ship here within 2-3 days, with the occasional longer or even shorter.

My wife has this figured out. She just makes sure she orders shite every day.

90% of the shite we order says it gets delivered next day and ends up taking 2-3. I have a package that was supposed to get delivered today, same shite.
