Seems like everyone I know who gets one either gets sick afterwards with the flu or feels like crap for a week.

Never had a flu shot and no plans ever to start

My so is a nurse. She says the lobby is full of people sick with the worst flu. The one thing they all have in common. They didn't get the flu shot. Another thing for the ones that say the shot gets you sick, sure you may feel a little crappy. That is your bodies immune system ramping up it is nothing to worry about. Everyone needs to get the shot.

i work at a hospital myself, in admin part of one. In our administration suite there is probably 25-30 people. about 15 of them got the flu shot. Out of those 15 about 8-9 of them had full blown flu within 2 weeks, along with family members that got the flu shot. Out of those that didnt get the shot.... ZERO has had the flu
