A few thoughts before my HOA patrol shift starts...

Used to be one of our busiest nights of the year but we have really dropped the hammer on miscreants and law breakers the past few years to the tune of only 3 reporter incidents last year on Dec 31 (illegal smoking, dog off leash and alcohol in piblic--front yard)
About to go out on the 10p to 2a shift in mostly a supervisory capacity as we are training some green horns this year. As I was charging the golf cart and filling my yeti tumbler with spiced latte, I couldn't help but be appalled at the vulgar music and dancing on this dick Clark show. I know dick has been incapacitated for years but the higher ups and his grandkids have let things slide too far.
Say a prayer for a peaceful night and warm wishes to your neighborhood this winter night.

I’m not a big believer in the whole, “leaving things behind for the new year” mantra, but I wish we could leave behind some of these fricking terrible posters.
