Rabies immune globulin is weight based, so the bigger you are, the more will be given. They’ll also administer the rabies vax today, then on days 3, 7, and 14 post initial vax. This can all be done in an ER. Good luck!

No. First round of shots are one vaccine shot in the arm and a certain amount of immune globulin in the bite and around the body in the arse, thighs, and arms. From there it's a single shot in the arm on days 3, 7, and 14. The immune globulin shots suck because it's a giant needle, but it's otherwise not too bad.
