I'm not making excuses for them. They were dumb. But this was not a street takeover. It was people doing stupid and dangerous shite (only endangering themselves) in an empty parking lot. That's very different than some morons blocking traffic so they can do the same type of dangerous shite, while also endangering innocent bystanders and keeping people from getting to their destination.

Unfortunately the driver is a great young lady who made a horrible decision that has likely ruined her life and those of her friends (who are also responsible).
Such a sad and avoidable event and an opportunity to talk to your kids about life altering consequences.

You willingly get into a pos suv with her as your driver. Not get in, you sit on the window hanging out like a dog. Then you're cool with her driving in reverse and cutting the wheel to do doughnuts while you cheer for social media.

I don't disagree. That doesn't mean I wanted to watch 5 people get crushed by an suv. And no one made me click the link, I'm just saying, I wish I hadn't watched it. However, maybe young folks should watch this video as an example of what could happen.
The "street racing" culture among young folks is so dumb. Glad that this wasn't a thing when I was growing up.
