A client told me she isn’t getting the vaccine because she doesn’t want her DNA altered.

This is an otherwise (mostly) normal person. Professional, former marine, very conservative. And she starts rattling off names of people I know who view it the same way and will not get the vax under any circumstances.
Is this view really prevalent among the non-Q crowd? DNA altering? Seriously?

One of brightest guys in my office says the same thing.

It’s a bit shocking to me that you are having these type of conversations with practically strangers.

My sister said she isn’t getting the vaccine because she heard Bill Gates is putting tracker chips in the vaccine. I told her that was only in the Moderna vaccine and to stop being a stupid, fricking moron.

I just don’t trust the mf’ers who made it.
It’s really that simple.
Oh, and why do I need a vaccine, from someone I don’t really trust, when the survival rate without it is 99%?
I don’t trust them.

Well the left’s overlord Zuckerberg said essentially the same thing. While also banning such talk on Facebook.

Well.... that is exactly what an mRNA vaccine does.

Doesn’t the vaccine actually do that? In order to fight off the virus more effectively.

An mRNA vaccine tricks your DNA into creating the proteins that fight the virus, so in a way they do change your DNA. Now, the studies show that there are no long-term affects, but they also don't have studies that extend over generations of people.

I don’t like the fact they rushed it into production. Why does it take years and years of clinical trials and lots of red tape before a drug gets approved but in less than a year we have 3-4 companies with a Covid vaccine
Sounds almost like they were working on this vaccine before it “escaped” into the world
$$$$$$$$$

A number of regulatory hurdles were lifted to speed production. The Trump administration literally called it “Operation Warp Speed.”

No.

mRNA can most easily be described as instructions for the cell on how to make a piece of the “spike protein” that is unique to SARS-CoV-2. Since only part of the protein is made, it does not do any harm to the person vaccinated but it is antigenic.
After the piece of the spike protein is made, the cell breaks down the mRNA strand and disposes of them using enzymes in the cell. It is important to note that the mRNA strand never enters the cell’s nucleus or affects genetic material.
