Nobody cheats death. You’re dead when God says it’s time.

Well then tell me any situation you felt you could possibly died from.

Flipped a 4 wheeler trying to load it in the back of a truck. Would have killed me dead as a hammer but I kicked it to the side at the last second. Probably the greatest athletic feat I've ever done in my life.

Ran off the road and hit a tree that kept me from going in the Ouachita River. Walked away unscathed.

I have been on the receiving end of various forms of ordinance fired in my general direction but nothing ever landed close.

Way more than that… that I can remember when sober…
When young and heavily intoxicated… lord only knows…

I have no idea why I am still alive…but I am glad I am…

A few. Diabetic keytoacidosis combined with alcohol poisoning in college in a very bad night.

Motorcycle through a brutal Storm with no goggles and my helmet had no mask from Hacksonville to Gainesville. I should not have lived. I could see nothing but the reflectors, was getting slammed by semis on the two lane road and the water from their tires almost slammed me off the road multiple times. Had to stay up to speed enough to see taillights in front to guide me in case a curve was coming.

Riding my bike when I was a kid. Got hit from behind by a Camarillo (yes I was riding toward traffic, the guy was trying to pass somewhere he shouldn’t) and he was doing about 60. Only thing I could think of when I was flying through the air head first was if I didn’t land on my feet I was going to die.

Managed to somersault myself over to land on my feet and broke my foot when I hit the ground.

In moments of crisis seems like everything slows down and I can think clearly.

I may win this one. I’ve been held hostage at gunpoint at a supermarket that was being robbed. During robbery was used as a shield by the robber. At end of event the robbers shot up two cop cars that were in pursuit.
Later in life was ran off a bridge and when my vehicle crashed to the bottom of the bridge the side of the truck was punctured by multiple pieces of rebar. Three of the rebar pieces went right behind and in front yard of me,pinning me in truck till I was cut out.
Few years later I was bitten by a large cottonmouth and went to the hospital for anti venom shots. Went home and had a bad reaction to the shots and woke up 4 days later.
Then a heart attack at age 44 that doctors can’t explain how I lived through.

When I was about six I got dumped out of a horse-drawn wagon that tipped over on me after a barking dog startled the horse. The other two occupants were older and able to jump out. Being as slim as I was probably saved me from serious injury. I got up and watched the horse take off down the street with carriage in tow. I found out later that the horse ran through two intersections almost a mile away and tried to jump a gate, demolishing the wagon.

Once

Had a truck flash in front of me while driving down a two lane road at an intersection. The stop sign had fallen over and we crossed paths at 50 mph plus. So close it was blur.

The kid sitting beside me almost jumped out of the window.

Would’ve killed us and the other driver for sure.

I'll put it to you this way, if life was truly fair, I'd either be in prison or dead.

I hope you continue to have a long and happy life but I kind of hope we never cross paths.
