I'm kind of mad and embarrassed at this situation. For the life of me I can't understand why some people have a mentality of being insufficient and it can't be resolved until they are accepted by all. If I am told to leave an establishment that means that establishment doesn't want my business. Why would I want to patronize someone that doesn't want me there? There are other coffee shops that would love to have me, so why try and make them want me?

It is just not this as situation where I see this mentality. I was watching a video of a biracial guy try and interview the klan. They were kind of polite honestly and told him that he could stay in certain areas and asked him to just abide by their rules, but he got pissy about not being able to go to some of their other places. Why couldn't he just respect their wishes? It is their private property, respect their wishes.

Trying to force someone to like you, accept you, engage you, love you, or interact with you is tiresome. Some of these people would be better off exerting their time and energy building for themselves than fighting a losing battle. It is a huge waste of time and seems so damn exhausting.

T-Bird, you feel me don't you?

Poors and dumbs (often the same people) can’t distinguish between private business and government service.

They don't actually care if white people like them or not, they just want to be seen as victims. Because victims get special privileges and free stuff.

I’m not black. I only play a black character on the OT. Sorry, I cannot weigh in.

Beyond that I just don't understand why don't they have the pride in themselves to just walk away. It looks weak and pathetic. Very weak minded mentality.

My question is, if the manager had been black, would the police have ever been called or would the manager have taken care of that shite.

Most black retail managers I have had interaction with dont take shite from anyone

I’m not black so I guess I’m not allowed an opinion on it because of my white privilege.

Victim hood has to be perpetuated. Without constant victim hood, there would be hard truths to swallow for not only the black community but our government's welfare policy of the last 50 years.

True

Honestly I'm just mad at myself for not trying for #fraparations (credit to upgrayyed for that one ) on my way to work this morning. Not getting any free coffee after Spurs wins the way things are looking, so I could have used this substitute

Was it racially motivated? I think so, but that's life. I would have called corporate and reported it later, but I would have just called the guy I was meeting and told him that we need to change locations. Not giving anyone my money that doesn't want me. That's stupid.

Its just that the situation is shoved in our face all the time.

Most people go about their lives minding their own business and not doing anything to harm each other
