The worst part of that video is that their Christmas lights are still up.

It's Detroit. They probably stay up year round.

Temperatures in the city are as low as -7 degrees Celsius. Cars are frozen in ice.

That's 19° for anyone wondering. Not exceptionally cold for that part of the country.

White supremacy caused this. Higher taxes is the cure.

Not cold for them at all. I'm in Central Arkansas and it's 11 degrees right now. We had freezing rain yesterday and for some reason the combo has our deck boards popping like a damn shotgun. It's bizzare

Oh boy, don't want to say that these people had it coming to them but geez.

I mean, who would live in an area with a 54" main pipe AND freezing weather.

I didn’t catcher C earlier. Is 19 degrees really cold enough to cause a 54”, submerged main to break?

It's that delicious part of municipal irony when electing people too stupid to run a city comes home to roost.

Can you imagine the hierarchy of stupidity in Detroit that you have to go through until you find ANYONE who knows what to do there?

Enjoy, Motor City. Your government in action in real time.
