As I opened the door this morning on the way to work , nine wrapped packages are sitting at my door step. Three presents for each of my three kids just with their names on them.

We don't know who they came from or why anyone would do that. We don't have any enstranged friends or family.
I did this same thing for a family struggling about three years ago but they never found out so I don't know.
Anyway, I thought it was a cool story to share.

Very cool! I once was spending Christmas alone and a girl from work showed up on my doorstep with leftovers. It was amazing of her and her family. Amazing how acts of kindness really stick with you. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and that 2019 is a great year!

I was back for Thanksgiving break years and years ago, rang up an ex to see what was up, she was alone...brought her leftovers...basted her turkey...then her new boyfriend showed-up unexpectedly as we were watching TV after the fact.

That was awkward. I think she wound-up marrying the guy.

Did you thank her by scissoring her?

Apparently now you’re the struggling family and someone feels sorry for you.

Congrats on being poor

I did not. She wasn't that kind of girl.

Great story, Rummy!
