I live in Vinings, I would say it can get a little stiff. 95k should be fine though, as long as you don't spend like an OT baller.

Does he work for a carniceria?

For all the ATL haters, go spend a day at Piedmont Park and along the eastside beltline neighborhoods. It's among the best in-town living you'll find in the southeast. I can hop on my bike from midtown and easily access great parks, restaurants, and bars while hardly even dealing with road traffic. This time of year especially is really fantastic to live in any of the connected eastside neighborhoods.

I was thinking he might like access to tailored suits and korean churchs

You clearly know nothing about this town if you think it is divided into those four areas.
My neighborhood--Druid Hills/Fernbank/Chelsea Heights is about as lilly white as they come, from here west to Morningside/VaHi/Midtown,east to NW Decatur and South to Lake Claire, Candler Park and SW to Inman Park are all similar. We are nowhere near buckhead.
Oakhurst is 2miles south of me and is yuppie haven, and Kirkwood is tipping in that direction. Keep going SW, and Edgewood/Reynoldstown/E Atl/Grant Park/Ormewood are all on the transitioned side of transitional.
When I commuted downtown (191 and Ptree Ctr), it took me 10-20 mins. 20 was if everything went wrong.
I can run a marathon through 80% trails from my house. There are parks the ave carpetbagger doesn't even know about. Trees abound. There's a lovely creek in my backyard. The Hooch is in the middle of town. Yellow River is ITP (ish). As I've mentioned, you've got mtns within a very short drive.
It isn't a great cultural mecca, and I am still here only because I can escape easily and other circs. But there are many worse places to live, especially if you do ATL right.

Yep, live in the right area and you can make ATL a great place to live. People hardly mention how green the city is, but it's quite a perk to have so many urban parks, trails, and tree lined neighborhoods.
Live in the wrong area though, and it's a traffic filled hell hole

I find it funny people from New Orleans and Baton Rouge think Atlanta is a hell hole. I've lived 1/2 my life in LA and half in the ATL area, ATL is not a bad city but it has its negatives just like any where else. Now days traffic is going to suck in any major city. And you are going to have areas you want to avoid in any major city. But just like anywhere else it's mainly going to be what you make of it. You can make 95k work if you want to.

Thanks
Brand was the biggest thing. Provides a bit more mobility nationally than some of the other programs nearby.

Might be heading that route before long if I were to get a requisite gmat if/when the time comes. I'd like to do IB and I think I'll have a hard time cracking bulge or mid without a decent MBA.
