It’s still better than Metairie, or Prairieville.

For all the shite people give randy smith about the sheriff's office, it's amazing that Tim lentz gets such a free pass.
Lentz and his secret setup to run for sheriff had the first murder in covington in over 10 years. Then this happens after the other shitty shop mysteriously Burns down. Now they have knife fights and horrible shooting in the streets.
The political greed of people and the freaking backstabbing by political leaders on the northshore is childish as can be.
FWIW, I don't really care about either Smith/Lentz, but they need to shut up and do their jobs.

Metairie is okay for me right now. I will be moving back across the lake in the future though, but I'd still want at least an acre. I looked around, and Ponchatoula has some nice offerings. It would just take me 15 minutes to get to Madisonville, and another 20 minutes to get to my family in Greenleaves

No doubt about that. At this exact moment, I can be exiting at Poydras in under 15 minutes (maybe 10). Up there, it would take me at least an hour and a half to do the same
