9 arrested, at least 3 injured in brawl outside Covington store

Though gunfire broke out, no shooting victims had been reported in connection with the large fight, which occurred at the ISTOP Grocery in the 1300 block of North Columbia Street, Lentz said.
One person was stabbed and two more people were taken to a local hospital with other injuries from the fight, he said.

I pass by the 1 Stop every day on the way home from work and there are always 20-30 people hanging out there. Garbage all over the place. Trashy. It got real bad after the little meat market down the road burned down, and the people who hung out there joined the mob at the 1 Stop. Clash of cultcha I guess.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Sure theres a small area of town that has its bad element, just like every other city in this nation. I moved from Covington to Prairieville a year ago and would GLADLY move back to Covington if I could.
