Mid to late 90s was when I was old enough to start going out and had friends that lived in the Marigny so it was Port of Call for dinner and then Snug Harbor (had a lot of friends in the Music program at UNO) then Checkpoint Charlie or DBA later.

not 80/90s but anyone remember Aqua in the early 2000s? I can’t remember where it was at.

Walking out of the House of Blues on SIN night and seeing people going to work in the CBD was an experience everyone should have.

Building on the bump...one night I walked out of SIN night 1 hour before I was supposed to be at work for an internship downtown. Big decision whether to just get breakfast and go in early, or drive back to Metairie to quick shower and change.

Dino’s Rock Box. Had a drink called Windex because it looked just like Windex. Had a few too many and got sick as hell. Also Obie’s on the I 10 service road. Really cool place.

Have not heard or thought about the term ‘SIN night’ in at least 25 yrs.. once while i was in college working in a club on Bourbon during Super Bowl week (Patriots/Packers)- i was partying with some Patriots players and this one player (a reserve special teams guy) asked me how to get to HOB and i was like hey man im getting off work now and heading to SIN night, ill show you the way .. we partied and wound up getting with a couple women from Boston, it was an epic night .

Surprised Sharky’s Reef hasn’t been mentioned. What a weird concept. Well before the latins moved in. There was also a nautical themed strip club in fat city, can’t recall name.

The Lagoon at Audubon Park was where the party started or ended. Also the levee for a few years was the spot.

We wore out the pool tables at madigans then ventured off to da quarter. Sitting duck or friar tucks was the coming to an end when we reached drinking age (16.)

I could go on a deep dive here but don’t want to incriminate myself.

I’m not sure how Kenny’s key west pulled a good bit of uptown kids out there but that spot was a freaking zoo. Went a couple times just to watch the parking lot fights.
