I imagine a class full of Christian parents don't exactly want their girls being groomed for the ghey. If mom believes that her daughter was born that way, guess what? All the other moms believe their daughters weren't. And they don't send them there to be sexually harassed about it.

Bible says being gay is a sin
Dumb parent pays money to send kid to a Christian school that teaches the Bible
Child says she’s gay
School says hit the road
Soooo... what’s the problem? It isn’t like the school changed the rules overnight... the Bible has stated being gay is a sin for well over two millennia now.

Yeah. Pretty much.

8 year olds aren't women that are married.

Just in general how is kicking an 8 year old out of school for something as minor as this a very Christian like thing to do? It's completely hypocritical.
Not only that but do they expell others for any sin committed?

They can and do.
The school our kids went to could suspend/expel you if you were caught smoking/dipping/drinking away from school.
If people don't like it then send your kids to a different school.
It seems like people just want to hate because it's a Christian school.
Let's look at military schools and have the same discussion.

Don't ever forget what Jesus said about being gay. Absolutely nothing.

Good point. If a teacher exasperatingly says "Jesus!" are they automatically fired?

On the one hand, i have no problem with kids being gay. I think people are born that way in most cases.
But....with private schools, i think the school should be able to have whatever rules they want as long as no kids are being abused. A religious school should have the right to teach that religion. If the student’s parent doesn’t agree with that religion, why send them to that school? I agree that the mom is probably behind this, fanning the flames, and is probably harming her child psychologically by putting her through this mess.
I have a child who is gay. They were 100% born that way, i knew it from as long as they could speak. You just know.
I told them that it’s fine, but you have to remember where you live. I didn’t advocate for staying in the closet, but i did say there would be social consequences for coming out at such a young age.
School staff and other parents didn’t do anything overtly harmful, but my kid was subtly shunned by them, and it sucked. I would fight any discrimination by the public school system and i would never send them to a private school that teaches against homosexuality. That would be cruel.

I got an idea, if you don’t believe in what the private school believes, maybe you should send them to a private school that believes the same as you or send them to public school.

Looks like it happened last week-wonder if it has anything to do with Jojo Siwa coming out? I didn’t know who she was until my 9 year old granddaughter told me; she loves her.
I actually bought her a Jojo comforter and did a Jojo themed Christmas tree in the room she stays in when she’s here. Oh well...
As far as the school’s private status, they accepted federal money from the CARES Act. Curious to see how this plays out.

People are intertwining what is legally permissible and whether or not this is a good decision.
Assuming the facts as stated are true (big assumption), this seems like a preposterous decision by the school even if they are well within their rights to do it.
Legality doesn’t shield institutions from criticism.
