I still remember a cool front in early August 2004. Was in Destin / Miramar beach on vacation. It was upper 50s / low 60s in the am. It was nuts

As much as we all want this, I think there's a tendency for a late summer cool front to be followed by nothing but muggy 90s well into October.
In other words, no good deed goes unpunished.
ETA: I really need to fix the autocorrect on my phone and use my reading glasses. My original post was typo-rich.

No joke. One year in my son’s youth football league, the preseason scrimmage took place on a beautiful day and we even had a little rain.
Then every game that fall was a scorcher.

This may sound strange but I have always said a cool front is coming when I start seeing love bugs. I saw one tonight on my patio.

Just had a thunerstorm at my crib in Northssippi. Temp dropped from 101 to 75 in minutes. May have to put on my turtleneck sweater
