Don’t these pigs love playing G.I. Joe? Soldiers run fast-paced CQB raids at night in hostile territory with likely armed assailants and do an overwhelmingly better job of assessing threats and delivering measured responses.
This cop, in broad daylight, with all of his cop buddies around him, can’t handle a frail old man better than to just shove him? That’s enough to know he shouldn’t have a badge because god knows how he would handle someone else in another situation.

The old dude shouldn't have been there, and I don't think the cop was trying to shove him to the ground, just push him back away... but the really ridiculous part is not to help him after he hits his head and is bleeding.

He wasn't reaching for shite. The cop saw him, knew he was coming, and unless he is retarded (which is likely), he couldn't make an accurate threat assessment. The old guy was likely trying to hand a helmet back to the police.

This. Cops have been working 16 hours everyday for 2 weeks now. They get yelled at and shite thrown at them all day. If you are dumb enough to stand in front of a line and reach out at a cop's waist, I have a hard time feeling too bad about whatever happens next

This is where the BLM types and I agree. The police in this nation are out of control, they’ve gone far beyond their intent, to the point that they’re mere revenue collectors. Hell, the founders were incredibly wary of an active police force for this nation and I agree with them (especially at the federal level).
Police by their very nature are not liberty preservers, they’re liberty deniers. The militarization of our police force is a massive problem right now.
However, I’m not going to loot and burn cities and when the anarchists and BLM and antifa begin doing that, I’m lost to their cause and their argument is pointless then.
