73-year-old man killed in shooting on Interstate 10 in New Orleans

A man killed in a shooting on Interstate 10 in New Orleans Friday has been identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as William Manns, 73.
Manns is the sixth person this year who has died from gunfire on interstates in New Orleans.
The shooting was reported to police around 8 p.m. Friday in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Norman C. Francis Parkway overpass. Manns was driving when police say someone shot his vehicle multiple times.
They found him in his vehicle, which was pulled onto the shoulder of the interstate. He died at the scene.
No other details were immediately available from authorities

I think it's pretty safe to say this 73 yr old guy wasn't involved in some sort of rap beef. Maybe I'm wrong but that would make him like 145 in normal people years.

They do have cameras, but nothing high res enough to catch a face.
Not sure the status of the license plate readers, but probably can't have them on the interstate.

I have to admit, since there are no penalties for murder anymore, I would find it thrilling to sit up on I-10 in NOLA East and pick off thugs on the interstate with the AR-10

We're not talking about people that actually pay for cars anyway. Not much help when the car is stolen.

I don't believe this shite. It seems like there is one of these every other week for the last 18 months. There is a serial killer loose killing people on the interstate. It's so weird that more isn't made about it. I guess feds will have to get involved before anything it done.

Now wait a minute. Just a week ago this very board swore up and down this was "gang beefs" and that the thugs were following rival gangsters up onto the Highway and then gunning them down in well synchronized hits. Taking advantage of the interstate for an easy get away.
Clearly this 73 year old man, that mother of two from a couple of months back and the variety of other people killed are all undercover gang bangers.
