I have one now...light switch in the floor, manual locking hubs, 3 on the tree, 302, side vent window, and floorboards that'll scald your feet. Love it.

How much trim did you get with that bad boy?

Have a 90’s Ford that still makes most of those sounds.

I fondly remember my dad’s 1981 Silverado. 305 V8 that probably got 10mpg. But hey, it cranked out about 150hp.

What was the slider at the 0.08s mark?

Air vent .08 mark
My first truck was a 70 Ford. 3 on the tree. Cut a hole in floor board and put a stick shift in it.

I've always thought the 68-72s were terrific looking trucks
Posted on 11/7/24 at 6:42 pm to Smeg
This is why trucks were so much cheaper back in the 70s and 80s. And when I say cheaper, I mean cheaper than cars. Four-door trucks were extremely rare. Very few came with all the bells and whistles. Most were just utilitarian vehicles that actually served a purpose.

76 f100 fire engine red w black stripe Explorer model checking in. 351 2wd, back tires kept wearing out faster than front as a teenager ;)
Lots.of room in front bench seat ;)
Kept it until 84, by then the shitty metal in rear quarters made them rust out.

I had a footswitch on my ‘66 Mustang back in the day. Half the time when I switched it to brights the lights would go out all together. I found that if I banged the shite out of the dash with my fist the lights would come back on. It was quite a conversation starter on first dates. The lights go out on a curvy road and the girl would scream as I bang on the dash.
I married the one that laughed when it happened.

I remember Dad’s Caddy had the photo-cell deal and I thought it was as close to magic as anything I had ever seen a magician pull off.

Yeah, 25 years and 3 kids later that footswitch glitch made a good call.
