Cop asks her to leave and she refused

Cop goes to arrest her and she resists

But sure keep up the propaganda

What legislation gives the bank the right to require a person to wear a mask?

The bank is private property that is allowed to require anything they like that does not contravene a law. Private property rights don't have to be specifically allowed by law.

And as another poster said, were the laws against wearing a mask in a bank repealed?

There are no federal anti-mask laws, some states have them some don't. The Texas anti-mask law was repealed in 1974 having been codified in 1928 as Article 554.

I’ll ask again. Why are you against the rights of private businesses?

I’m not. I just don’t think a business should be able to arbitrarily violate the rights of their patrons.

That’s actually a law in most places.

I’d expect nothing less from the liberal OT to applaud this crap.

What’s next?

-No entry without a vaccine?
-No entry if you don’t share the same political views?
-No entry unless your views on race align with ours?

Just because you can pretend wearing a mask is a “public health issue” that must mean you have the right to prevent entry to your public place of business?

This didn’t work out so well for the folks that didn’t want to make gay wedding cakes?

He's a big govt person I guess. Doesn't think businesses should be able to implement their own policies. Other than that, I don't know what he is arguing about.

We are still a free country. Somewhat anyway.

so you think the customer is always right and the baker should have been forced to make a dick cake?

because that is what you are arguing. at least if you are trying to be consistent.

I'm not sure you understand "freedom".

Should the bank have the freedom to set their own policies?

Banking is super competitive industry. You can't drive 1 block on any major street without passing at least 1 bank. The lady has unlimited freedom to bank where ever she sees fit. Nobody took her freedom from her.

They support private property rights.

For example, chewing bubble gum is legal. However, it's your right as a homeowner to disallow guests from chewing gum in your house. If a guest says "frick you" and chews gum anyway, you can ask them to leave. If they refuse, the cops can arrest them for trespassing.

How is this story any different? If I follow your logic, you're basically saying that a guest in your home has the right to do whatever they want, even if it's against your rules.

Dude. I’m 100% agreeing with you.

I meant the freedom of the private business to set their own rules.

It is a law in some places. But not in all places.

And since I'm not required to be "non-smoking" by law, do I have the right to decide in my own building to make it non-smoking?

You're all underestimating the toll the last year's bullshite propaganda and domination campaign has taken or the precedent set in people's minds about what can or should be done.
