This. Need to treat this condition above the neck, not below it.

That’s a really good question. I’m just over here being completely boring and mundane.

It just doesn't register with me. If you want to change genders, go right ahead. Now if they were trying to remove other people's gentitals? I could get the preoccupation then...but damn, this is a lot of energy to worry about other peoples dicks?

Ya think? This shite been known for decades. Why they want to torture these kids? It looks like the left wants more dead kids, like Hamas, to promote their agenda...

The leftist scum will deny whatever reality they need to in order to push their agenda to the greatest extent possible. Broken or even dead lives mean nothing to them, they are true evil.

I wish I knew, which is why I try to at least educate and relate personal experiences here. It’s rough reading the comments here, but just try to choose which posts to reply to whose authors seem willing to engage or willing to listen.

This will be seen as the modern lobotomy, specifically when it comes to kids. If you’re 25 and know who you are, then sure go ahead, but chemically castrating a kid or chopping off their balls? frick you!

This isn’t a transkid, but this is from Desmond Is Amazing. He’s 11, his parents put him in the drag scene, and knows how to do ketamine. And by the way, I did alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, acid, mushrooms, and opium before graduating college and I didn’t know what ketamine was until I was 23. If things really work out for Desmond, best case he joins the 27 Club. If an 11 year old knows more about drugs than a functional degenerate twice his age, this is clearly child abuse. His parents should be put on trial for that charge, and once pronounced guilty be shot in the back of the head behind the courthouse immediately: YouTube

No one is getting surgeries at that age. Puberty blockers? with doctor approval and therapist and psychiatric approval. Hormones aren’t approved till 16/17. Surgeries at 17 or later. Depends on the state, but they are usually 17/18.

That Desmond kid isn’t/shouldn’t be an example, nor is he trans nor does that fit this conversation.

Welp, that explains some of why thespleen sucks so bad, at least.

shame on the American Medical Association for allowing health care providers to treat mental illness with permanent elective surgeries without exploring rigorous psychiatric care.

Lol, like plastic surgeons give a frick about anything other than $$$

This isn’t the AMA. This is cosmetic surgeons making bank, and to an extent the APA (American psychiatry association) being a bit passive on the issue.

Which societies do accept this?

Not claiming this on you, but too many people blame the USA. That we are the intolerant ones. I am having a hard time thinking of any country/region that does openly accept this mental illness as “normal”.

FTR, this is not a question of tolerance/acceptance. It is actually about truthfully wanting to get the proper help for these young people.

This is exactly what concerned me when I first heard about these young people having “easy” access to permanently alter their bodies. I have a twenty-year-old daughter, and although she generally makes very good choices and is more mature than most her age, I know that her brain will not finish fully developing until she is about 25. Until then, she won’t have a full appreciation of the permanency of some consequences. The same is true for all young people.

I’m a teacher of middle and high school students, and even though some of my kids are more mature than others, their brains will not be fully developed until years after they finish high school. Nevertheless, kids their age are being allowed to make decisions that will permanently alter their bodies. That really concerns me. I have empathy for people who have gender dysphoria—I really do. I can’t even begin to imagine how it might feel to have that condition, and my heart goes out to them, but I don’t think we are helping them to allow them to make permanent choices at relatively young ages.

When I hear my kids talk about getting tattoos at 18, I always advise them to wait a few years to see if that is something they really want—because it is permanent. The stakes of changing genders is of FAR greater consequence than getting a tattoo, yet we as a society are allowing kids to do it. That definitely concerns me. Parents who feed into and encourage it REALLY concern me. A young person of 18 cannot legally order a cocktail in a bar yet can have a mastectomy. That is seriously messed up.

Do you sleep with all of the trans people in your hood? If not, then you are a bigot!

The slippery slope is real. If you can’t understand that, then I don’t know what to tell you.

As for my personal feelings, I could give a shite what an adult does to their own body.

But don’t act as though there isn’t a push for child mutilation from the left.

As for the study, iirc, it mirrors the results of a Johns Hopkins study from the past. Surgery, doesn’t seem to be the answer for most (quite the opposite actually). However, if a grown man wants to chop off his pecker at his own personal expense...have at it. Nut job parents torturing their children...frick off with that nonsense.

One last thing, and this is tied to the whole trannie movement...

frick off with the pronoun mandates. If I choose to refer to you by what you request, cool. But if you have a cock n balls, then you are a guy...no offense to this GUY.

One thing teens really like to do is do something that will cause more negative attention towards them and bring on more ridicule and exclusion.

In today’s climate they aren’t ridiculed for it though, especially by adults. Most are celebrated and protected for it. Sure, some kids will be mean to them for it, but most won’t simply because they don’t want to get in trouble with the teachers and authority.
