Kids are not as helpless and innocent as you seem to think. There are always kids, even as young as first grade, looking to skip class, disrupt the lesson, or overall be the centers of attention.

Where the fricked up part occurs in this story is the clean up and the principal supporting it.

Edit:
Y’all never had the little shite, class-clown ask to go to the bathroom 12 times in a class just to piss the teacher off?

There are also children with known allergies who still like milk and cheese and will drink/eat it if someone gives it to them knowing they should not have it.

There are also children who will not speak up if an adult in authority gives them a milk and tells them to drink it. Even they know it will make them sick they won't argue or contradict an adult.

Shitty situation for all involved. Seriously. But also jokingly.

Because of this I bet hundreds of kids will now no longer have the option to drink milk at school and it will be replaced by apple juice or something.
more investigating needs to be done about it though

One of my good friends has a child with special needs and a lot of dietary restrictions- and the ‘teacher’ is notorious for giving the child something she’s not supposed to have

I’m hoping the teacher in the op is more innocent than that.

I understand all that and I think you have me confused with someone arguing the teacher is blameless in this. She’s not.

After the 5th time going to the bathroom you pull the child aside, away from the class, and ask if everything is ok or if they need to have their parents called to come get them.

But I’m simply saying there are kids that will 1,000% abuse the unlimited bathroom allowance just to be an a-hole.

I guess so. Accidents happen. Forcing a kid to clean up their own shite in the classroom, and then defending the teacher that made that decision seems like immediately fireable offenses to me

You've never been to Zachary.

You're fortunate.

Sidebar, when did dietary allergies become so prevalent and life threatening. 30 years ago when I was in elementary school, I can’t remember anyone having any food allergies

Yep lots of missing info. Schools can’t really defend themselves.
The Mom said in her interview “they made her clean the walls and the floor”. How did it get on the walls? This is a smear campaign in more ways than one.

Kids that young?

Seems unlikely.

I agree to a certain extent, but they also can't let kids poop themselves all the time without understanding that has to be cleaned up.
