They need a $350,000 study to find out water is wet.

Either our politicians are that stupid or they are getting a lot of kick backs.

The parish will be bankrupt from studies by the time they get solutions for anything useful.

Hopefully the Consulting office did a lot more than that, and that just happened to be the easiest headline.

I'll admit I have my doubts.

The stupidest of all are the voters that elected this idiot we have for a mayor.

Nakamoto please...please investigate why 300k was paid to some big dummy firm to tell Gissell and Broomey that fences deter theft.

Paging CHRIS...

Man, it embarrassing to the entire state when some idiot mayor hires a consultant firm to teach you common sense.

Build a fence around your vehicles and they wont be stolen.
Turn off water when finished using.
Wipe your butt with toilet paper and you won't stink

Not making fun of BR per se any of our cities with democratic mayors are run the same way.

What degree or business do I need to get started on this gravy train?

Government or a business hires you or your company and then you go in and tell them the obvious. Then you give then worthless advice.

Sounds like a winning proposition.

This reminds me of the Grayson Moorhead Securities commercials on SNL.

We will make a list with all of our clients names on it

And if we have time, we will make a copy of that list.

The most irritating part of this is you know they had employees telling them everything the consultant told them beforehand. But the state of Louisiana managers and CEOs are the worse in the world about not taking advice.

I've seen medical directors and CEOs of hospitals turn down excellent advice that would have saved hospitals a fortune just because the person telling them was from a "profit" hospital. Complete and utter stupidity.

what makes it worse is the dumbass voters in EBR just gave them millions more for this "movebr" shite. she will find someway to blow that money before it gets to the infrastructure it was promised to be for. bookmark it

A fence?

In all seriousness though, has there been an issue with fleet vehicles being stolen or vandalized? I would think something like that would be big enough news to at least warrant a single post on the OT.

First recommendation in his report should be not to spend $300k to hire an "efficiency expert".

Second recommendation should be to gut the entire city government of lazy, apathetic, entitled employees.

End report.

I'm working with Harris County to implement drone and sensor technologies that will allow A.I. to run the city of Houston's traffic management.

Seems like B.R. could use the same.

Thanks for all you do to improve Houstons traffic which is growing by 165 people each day, many from Louisiana.

So a fence will keep thieves out?

. . . by keeping cars in. Go to a tow truck business sometime and see if they have one.

Work boots also, probably put a shovel behind the wheel and eliminate theft quickly.

Anybody who is seriously comparing this fence to the wall is a complete moron. Even more ironic than voting for Russian agent for president.
