Honestly, I will be sympathetic only because Kennedy was assassinated.

MLK and Jesse Jackson/Sharpton were in a struggle over leadership of the black community in the 60's.

I could have easily reworded this to be political. However, MLK does not necessarily have to be mentioned politically.

You know, if more people would listen to what this man had to say, we may not be in the current political climate right now (this for GOP and DEM)
