Appreciate it, to say that i'm nervous to the point of being terrified would be an accurate description.

Do you keep your kid in a bubble?

We live in the purell generation where people are generally more sickly due to less exposure to everyday germs.

Pampers - the diaper company - is installing diaper change tables in 5,000 men's rooms over the next two years.

Good on them. Hopefully they start at airports. There is no excuse for a reasonable sized airport (MSY, looking at you) to lack changing tables in men's rooms.

so if you're in a store, mall complex or somewhere where you're not parked all that close, you'd physcially walk all the way out there to change your kid rather than putting a changing pad on the changing station and changing them there in the store?

my man, you must be a patient dude.

Do they not have family restrooms?

nah, some dudes would rather go walk to their cars after they've already gone through security just to change a diaper rather than use what's already there for them

And wait until it's time to start potty training and you're out in public and the kid will need to pee in a public bathroom

I'd like to see each one of them equipped with sanitizing wipes to clean them off before using them as well.

Gotta carry those in the diaper bag bro.

I personally just go to our car if that is an option and it has yet not to be, thank god.

I have a 9 month old boy FWIW.

Half the time I get a high chair from a restaurant it’s covered in shite

This infuriates me.

I wipe down high chairs and pick stuff off the floor as we're leaving a restaurant. Feel terrible for waiters/waitresses that have to do that shite on top of their other duties.

Common courtesy is dead to some people.

Nope, the 2.5 year old is a nasty little fricker and I'm even less cautious with the 4 month old. But you're right, opting for changing a diaper in the car is akin to raising bubble boy

Having car seats means the car isn't clean? Hmmm

How many car seats you got in the trunk?

It seems pretty fricking inconvenient.

It's pretty close given your reasoning.

In this case, I'll just find a secluded corner of the mall like a fire exit tunnel or go outside to a bench or something.

I really hate public restrooms

seriously

all u need is a changing pad to put on the station and wipes

wipe down that station well and then do your thing

that fricking beats walking my arse all the way out to the car just to change a diaper

95% of the time I’m not much farther from my car than the bathroom. Don’t think I’ve been in a mall since my kid was born. Situations like ballgames, walking downtown, etc? I’d have no problem using the changing table then.

see, i don't mind this at all, so long as you have what you need in 'the bag.'

I hear ya. Public restrooms are trashy. That's why I take a shite at my table if the need arises
