I changed my son in the back of a pickup truck at an LSU game. Thanks to the guy in the lot behind left field who let me.

Your fellow restaurant patrons thank you.

I am one of the most kind, courteous, and outgoing individuals you could meet. I still have common sense though, and those factors don't lead me to changing a baby on a bathroom floor

Why not change it in the car if you’re at a restaurant?

Most cars with children, have items, such as car seats, et all that take up space. Sounds great, not a ton of baby changing space though

Because my son's "firehose" went off in the car one time while I was changing him. If there is no changing table, and my wife isn't there, I use the changing pad on the counter or floor.

Just change them in the car and throw the diaper in the parking lot like some respected members of our society..

I honestly prefer this over using a changing table in public. Those changing tables have to be nasty as shite

What logic are you using here? Do you not use public restrooms yourself?

Having a clean car seems like a better option than letting Sun God Jr wriggle around on the floor tbh

I do, but I also don't get nude and lay around on plastic surfaces in public restrooms. Wtf logic do you think I'm using? That really needed to be spelled out for you?

Half the time I get a high chair from a restaurant it’s covered in shite

Kids are grosser than most humans and there parents rarely give a shite what kind of mess they leave behind

Touching the door handle or the knobs for the toilet or sink will be dirtier than anything on the changing table.

Ok. I can wash my hands. I still prefer changing my kid in the backseat of the car over a changing table in a public restroom.

Can you not also wipe off the changing table if you are so worried about it being contaminated?

No way I’m putting my kid on one of those things. They are mainly used by cokeheads to snort coke.

Having car seats means the car isn't clean? Hmmm...

It's ice-skating up hill.

The kid that you're keeping away from bathroom germs by refusing to change them in public bathrooms is the same kid that will lick the underside of a public handrail just to see what it tastes like.

What kind of carseats do you have in the passenger seat?

Or could I just not go in there with my kid in the first place? You might like hanging out in public restrooms, but I try to minimize my time in them
