Seems pretty unusual. Most hood violence seems to be 15-40. I guess if you make it to 40 in the hood you probably weren't living the gangsta lifestyle.

Well this did happen in Algiers, so we can speculate. Hopefully it wasn’t a random home invasion turned deadly.

Violence is mostly a game of youth. I knew a guy that was a guard at Angola for several years. He transferred to the youth detention center and quit shortly thereafter due to the violence. True story.

Yeah I've never lived that lifestyle but I just want to be left alone for the most part now. I don't have any problems with anyone unless they cause me problems

80 homicides through March 21st. That's almost twice as many as Atlanta.

Batting 1.000 this weekend. That's pretty impressive.

That wouldn't happen in Chicago.

Certain types of people behind the wheel in BR are more apt to cause unwanted problems where you are just minding your own business.

This.

For example, if someone is breaking into your car, you better hope it’s an older crackhead and not a 16 year old. The 16 year old will more than likely shoot your arse. The old dude will not.

I live in New Orleans and have never heard of any of those streets. More white supremacy I’m sure.
