How bad is that stuff for you? I have a week and a half old baby and I am not getting much sleep. I normally drink green tea and that can sometimes get me going in the morning but has not been doing the job the last few days. I don't drink coffee either. Any of you baws use the 5 hour energy?

I thought 5 Hour Energy just had a bunch of caffeine in it but looking at the ingredients it's just 8,000% of the daily recommended B12 intake

Have you tried this? LINK

You'll get a jolt for couple hours and piss like a race horse all day.

Embrace the fact that it sucks right now. It will get better.

Coffee is better for you than that 5 hour crap or God forbid, energy drinks.

Energy drinks are for the weak. Don't fall for the gimmick.

Not like this..... the overdose of vitamins causes your body to continually flush that stuff out. Pretty good sign that's it's not good for you.

When I was training for a marathon, I would drink one prior to a long run. It helped, but typically crashed around mile 13-14.

It worked great for me when I had to do night shifts for a few months. It didn't make me jittery like tons of coffee. It just gives you some energy and alertness, I highly recommend it.

By the way, your baby probably has a temporary protein allergy and you should try feeding it Similac Alimentum. $$$ but you'll sleep better. And your baby will too.

I know you say you drink green tea, but make sure it’s Matcha.

Get a prescription for Provigil. Works great for mood and alertness. Been taking provigil for 12 years.

They work but don't trust the name. You really need to take them every 4 hours to see the best benefits.

I take half of the bottle at a time and it picks me up for 2.5 to 3 hours. If I have something to do and I’m pooped I take half and get a 100% pick up. I never take the whole thing. Buy a case at Sam’s for $35. I recvomend it!

I've worked around physicians for 15 years, pretty much everyone of them that I know have spoken about it says they're not bad for you, you'll just pee it all out.

I drink a Rockstar or some energy drink maybe 2-3 mornings per week. I always find it funny how many people will point it out to me and how unhealthy it is literally while holding their large Starbucks coffee in a room full of other people holding their large Starbucks coffees.

Wrong, look at the label and see how much sugar is in a Rock star. Unless you are pouring 3 tablespoons of sugar in that Starbucks then they are right.
