Yellowstone is going to blow up and kill us all.

The first one comments on Yellowstone and how it doesn't even compare to the Indonesia one

Better to happen tomorrow than today

The Yellowstone eruption would have more of a worldwide impact with the USA economy and all.

Cool read. I can't wrap my mind around how a landslide could cause a 20M high tsunami.

The "Big One" is due. An earthquake on the west coast is going to happen.
A lot of misconception is that smaller earth quakes relieve stress built up, but the understanding of the Richter scale is what is important.
Basically it would take 30,000 magnitude 5's to relieve one magnitude 8. And that isn't happening.
Like the article said, the subductive plate is stuck and even though it carries a 40mm/yr avg., when it pops the big one it could move multiple meters then settle in for another couple hundred years of slight slips.

It also referred to climate change 6000 years ago. Maybe they aren't talking about man-made climate change, which is the current BS.

That's hard to believe. Not doubting you, but that's amazing.

Man made climate change is bullshite.
Cyclical climate change is real.

It annoys me that we can't control the weather or natural disasters yet.
I feel that scientists have failed us.
