Don't you think he would've went further and further left just like the rest of them? Wasn't he a hardcore socialist in the 60s?
He was.

He wouldn't be a hardcore socialist today with all the other socialists?
I think he would've be a big voice for this movement.
By the time of his death he was leaning more right and was a big fan of Reagan.

Can't disagree, especially when he was younger, but it still doesn't diminish his or The Beatles influence.

I didn't lose anything.

Yep. He'd be right-of-center in today's political climate.
Lennon would be as bad as Roger Waters if he was still alive

The Beatles have to be the most overrated band of all time.
^ Amen. I love all types of music from the past 100 years but the Beatles are just not my cup of tea.

Up until about 1967 Lennon was the overall talent in terms of songwriting with a sizeable assist from McCartney. But Lennon dove a little too deep into drugs and it really affected his output and by 1968 McCartney was really hitting his stride.
Harrison sounded better for sure and was a very good musician. Very underappreciated guitarist.
But, Rich Starkey was the man.

I was in Liverpool a few months back, the Beatles museum was empty. They suck!

Liverpool is filled with Irish, Blacks and Pakistanis as well as the burnt out British underclass.

Lemon was not musical greatness. McCartney was the diamond of that band. He carried John.
As a musician friend of mine used to put it, "McCartney was the genius. Lennon was just angry".

That's a good way to put it.
Lennon did have a lot of anger when he was younger. His dad abandoning him had a lot to do with it.
