sounds like you are doing all the right things. Would def try hypoallergenic formula and also, check the home. No plants, dust, molds, candles, etc that could trigger it. Laundry detergent, etc.

What makes the nosefrida better? Seems like everyone who has one loves them.

Putting it on the feet and chest always helped a little. Mostly helped with coughing herself awake.

lol you can put some torque in the suction Those little bulbs and all do nothing. I get that nosefrida in my mouth and feel like i am sucking his brains out sometimes.. his eyes get so big he dont know whats goin on. But it clears the nose

Honest to God try the Walmart brand formula. My son had horrible reflux and sinus issues. We tried every formula we could find, working our way all the way up to the most expensive one in the store. Somewhere my wife read to try the basic Walmart brand one and it worked just as well.

He eventually had to get tubes but that cited the reflux

Damn We may have to get one. Or at least for the next kid if/when that happens. All that bulb does is piss them off and then they're afraid of it.

Not sure if this is your first kid, but I wanted to let you know you and your wife are doing a great job. You're doing everything you can to tune into your baby's needs at an age where they can't tell you what's wrong- and that's freaking hard. Even though you're sleep deprived as all hell and clearly desperate for help (ie looking for advice on the OT), hang in there. Being a parent is definitely the toughest job out there.

yea the bulb is a joke! Now the nosefrida takes a tough stomach.. my wife cant do it. You have to actually suck it with your mouth, and see tge snot come out in a tube lol. But man it will clear the nasal path.

See an immunologist, and have her tested for allergies and also check her immunoglobulin levels.

Start here and make sure her immune system is functioning properly, then gonfrom there
You need to see a specialist.

If you’re near New Orleans go see Dr Paris at children’s. He’s an immunologist who is widely known across America

My wife can’t do the nosefrida (pussies out and says she is going to vomit) so I’m the one who had to do it. Yeah you can really get that nose cleared the frick out.

But be careful. I’ve read if done too vigorously too often it can cause swalloing issues/further sinus issues

I’m not sure that they will run immune system checks on kids that’s young. We had one done on my son who’s almost two and they were very hesitant to do it worrying his immune system hadn’t developed sufficiently yet

First thought is to get her to the best specialist around ASAP.

Second thought (and its very important) is DO NOT overheat the house at night. 2 of our babies would get sick (as described) overnight if the temp got above 69 degrees....seriously. They would stopup and then the ears and then the UR.

Go all the way with Similac Alimentum.

I would try this as well. We tried 3 or 4 different formulas before Alimentum worked. Best money I ever spent.

I have 4 kids, my sister has 5, and my brother 2 that have suffered from what you describe to some degree. I'd be willing to bet allergies are a contributing factor. Get rid of inside pets, carpet(at least in her room), invest in MERV 8 or better, and an air purifier in her room.

My youngest son, who's the worse of my brood, is also effected my the central heat. If I'm out of town and my wife kicks the heat up to 68 or so, he's super congested. If we keep it down to about 65, he fares better(less cycling on/off)

One more thing, we used to use Zarbee's but have found Hylands to be better.
