I am pretty sure there is nothing for the defense to work with on this one. The Superintendent would have the right to question employees of the school system and go to the classroom to get items while students are still in the class. Might be different if the conversation wasn't caught on camera

This teacher had waaaay too many chances to walk away from this without being arrested. She even had a chance to just have someone pick her up from the school, but delayed until the Super found the cup. Even then, she was good until she wiped it out... This is on the alcoholic teacher and they should have arrested her as soon as the .24 was blown

I agree, she got annoying.

But the cop was kind of a douchebag if we are being honest. As soon as he suspected she was a functioning alcoholic he shouldve known he wasnt going to get much truth out of her. That is how alcoholics survive.

She was dang near in cuffs and she was STILL trying to run the show.

Its sad.

Basically. She wouldnt call anyone and refused to let them call her husband.

Bet that was a fun conversation from the jail when he had to pick her up later.

I would imagine the charge would be child endangerment, or whatever the equivalent charge is in their jurisdiction.

I’d probably need to be drunk to spend an entire day in a room full of 3rd graders.

HaHa. This isn’t a murder case. She was drunk at work and blew a .24. She will get fired and have community service and/or probation. This will
Not be a jury trial.

Probably hungover from the night before and figured she would get her mind right with a couple drinks

Ended up with a foam cup on the way to school.

This is what she should have done. Maybe she could have gone unnoticed with one.

She won’t teach in OK again her credentials have been terminated. Ya’ll better watch out in other states when she somehow gets in your school system.

I like to drink as much as anyone, but damn, I can't imagine going to work drunk, or drinking. Especially as a freaking teacher.

It takes more than a drink on the way to school to take the edge off to blow a .24.

if they have an EAP and she enters the program she will probably be teaching again, should she want to, in less than a year
