He got the best medical care, a top notch home, and he has enough people visiting his area to keep him entertained.
Would they rather put him in a private farm where he will not get top notch care, may go bankrupt where they have to move him, and take him away from a top notch home?

What's funny is that if LSU didn't have a live tiger on campus, he would be in the care of the facility we got him from and would be living in worse conditions.
If they were able to get LSU to remove him then where would he go? He would have to go back to a place that houses exotic cats, which has limited funds to care for them, etc.
Can we get a petition going to get these cock suckers to shut the frick up and do some research before they start taking action towards something?

Maintained tigers live much longer than domestic tigers left in their origin. With the number of caretakers Mike has, he isn't lonely at all. Also, tiger populations are plummeting. I can't think of a better environment, free from outside danger, for a tiger to reside at.
