I just read this on nola.com:
"The lieutenants also said that considering the animosity that some New Orleanians now feel toward the krewe, they would be fearful to ride in the parade. "There have been threats to those of us who tried to stay and make positive change," the letter states, "that if we rode, we would be potentially harmed by parade-goers."
Call me highly skeptical to think this is complete bullshite, but I don't think anyone outside of the organization is paying Nyx riders any major attention in regards to animosity, nor do I think anyone will give a shite 9-10 months from now.

Krewe d'Etat will be must-see next year. I can't even believe they televise Krewe d'Etat in New Orleans considering all of the stuff they make fun of.
