Perfect example of the dishonest media.

Was the original issue over the allegation of a stolen orange juice, yes. But did this discription of the events mention that Harlins punched the store owner multiple times in the face?

There is a real discussion on if the use of lethal force was justified, but there was certainly more to it that simply "you are stealing orange juice "bang, bang."

Did Reginald Denny’s face ever grow back?

Did the thug who threw the brick in Reginald Denny’s face get castrated (with a butter knife / Dr with Parkinson’s)?

There is a 3 man softball tournament played every year on the sand of Fiesta Island in San Diego. You can almost make up any name. That year our team name was 'Don't lose your head Latasha it's only orange juice"

If I remember right, after the scuffle, the girl turned around to leave when the store lady pulled out the gun and shot her in the back of the head. It was definitely a stretch to call it justifiable.

This is a really good documentary about the riots.

No AI narrator or commentary. Just video as it happened. Mostly uncensored footage. A few blurs here and there over the bodies.

Nat Geo

Two hours long.

The original video, they smacked him with the brick, then about 5 guys danced around him while throwing gang signs and taking turns beating on him more.
This is why you floor it when a bunch of assholes surround your vehicle, wanting you to get out!

So this "kick them in the head while they are down" move for violent democrats has been around forever. This isn't some new things these scholars learned recently. Interesting behavior.

I watched a documentary about the riots (may have been L.A. 92) where they interviewed the guys who hit Reginald Denny. No remorse from any of them if I remember correctly, all of them justified it. It was the whole " Someone did or said something bad over there, so I'm justified in hurting or murdering an innocent none related person over here" excuse/logic that the left uses today. If someone says the "N" word you are now allowed to commit murder...or in this case a wrong was done so stoning a guy on live TV is your right.

1) LAPD did nothing wrong with King. They had every right to shoot his arse, and didn't. They were convicted because of the riots (Derek Chauvined before it was cool).

2) Reginald Denny is an object lesson of why you just run motherfrickers over and worry about the consequences later without the permanent brain damage.

3) A conveniently timed period of civil unrest in a presidential election year.

These were awful events. This is why people who get online or on tv and say race relations are worse today than ever before in history need to be not only ignored but called out. We have come so far. It's never going to be perfect, but every generation gets better

you can thank Obama and Democrats for race relations being bad.

I was in Los Angeles that very morning. But I was just packed up and leaving, starting the long drive back to Texas. For two days I was on the road, and really had no idea what a big event that was turning into. Just heard a little bit about some rioting going on in Los Angeles on the radio as I was driving. Phoned some friends when I got back, and they sounded genuinely shocked and aghast at what happened all around them.

Williams faced the most serious charges of the four, including attempted murder, assault, and aggravated mayhem. His jury acquitted him on the charges and instead convicted him of only four misdemeanors and simple mayhem. He was given the maximum sentence of 10 years, but was paroled after serving four years.[11] After his release, he was convicted in 2003 of second degree murder for his role in the 2000 killing of Grover Tinner, which took place at a house suspected of being used for selling narcotics. The victim's sister disputed that Williams had shot at Tinner, and a coalition of community and religious leaders demanded his release, saying he was being targeted because of his involvement in the Denny case. He was ultimately convicted for participating in a crime resulting in a homicide and sentenced to 41 years in prison.[11] As of 2007 he was incarcerated in Pelican Bay State Prison.

Thanks! Wow.

Practice makes perfect (attempted murder to homocide).

In 2044, may all truck drivers in L.A. ‘welcome’ Williams home.

41 yrs for involvement in a homicide. I like it.

That helps Reginald get some sense of justice for the fact that this piece of crap got off with 4yrs in jail for altering Mr. Denny’s life for ever. I've heard Reginald never fully recovered from the attack as he, shocker, sustained life altering brain injuries from the attack.
