I’ve got the above truck with a heavy ranch hand front bumper (I’m really good at hitting deer). I decided to upsize my tires and got Toyo A/T III tires, 33x12.5.

I may have gone a bit too big. The tires rub just a bit when I go in reverse and turn the tire hard left or right.

Do I need a leveling kit or spacers?

TIA

The rubbing will eventually stop on its own.

Depends on where it is rubbing.

New rims with more backspace would help too.

You could also do wheel spacers. There are some potential drawbacks there as well.

This is the way.

Don’t forget to keep the back 1 inch lower than the front.

You don’t need it, but it’ll look better with a leveling kit.

Cut the plastic liner of the wheel well. Shouldn’t take much

This is literally telling him to do two opposite things.

While I don’t know the exact details, my son had his tires rubbing on a 2013 similar to what you describe and it eventually wore through a wire harness the size of your thumb with about 12 wires in it. Was a mess to repair.

I had 35x12.50 thornbirds that rubbed the struts and a spacer did the trick.

2” lift kit and you could have gone with 35x12.5. Ask me how I know.
