The greatest angle in the history of pro wrestling occurred, as well as perhaps my greatest night as a wrestling fan.

Have you not heard of JYD, the loser leave town with Ted D and the return of Stagger Lee?

FYI, wrestling is one of the many things the OT describes as "trashy."

In this case, the OT is correct.

IDK, to me this looks like the greatest angle.

Yeah, he was in pretty bad shape at that point. He could barely walk, but knew the business needed it.
Greatest angle ever? I don't agree with that. It was pretty much the only angle at the time and wasn't much to it. The biggest hurdle was getting Andre to go along with it. He pretty much ran things, and if he didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't happen.
It absolutely set the stage for the next decade, though.

Stagger Lee

I saw Stagger Lee fight Ted D or maybe Orndorff in the Superdome. If they could unmask Lee and prove it was JYD, the Dog would have to leave Midsouth for life.

Late in the match, a foreign object was used to knock out Lee; however, the referee was also rendered unconscious. Stagger Lee was unmasked but managed to get the mask back on while Ted tried to revive the ref and Lee pinned Ted as the ref came back to his senses.

I know who was behind that mask but I will take that info to the grave.
