Yes, you are. The information requested includes membership in groups that actively support international terrorist organizations. It is not an absurd request at all for FOREIGN students.

There is NO other country in the world where you can go get a student visa, then engage in civil disruptions, especially those disruptions where physical attacks have been carried out against a specific ethnic or religious group.

As a prof in ag, most of the applications are foreign. Nobody wants to do this work, even if it’s funded by industry.

I’m not going to defend what Harvard has been of late. It still does not give this admin the right to tell them what they can teach, who they can teach it to, and who will be doing the teaching. Again, Erdogan. The aim is isn’t antisemitism, the aim is control.

Hillel, the nation’s largest Jewish student organization, took the extraordinary step in 2024 of advising Jews to avoid the Harvard Campus because of how bad the harassment has become.

You can’t even hold a menorah lighting ceremony without (often foreign Muslim) students coming to stir trouble.

Harvard is *legally obligated* to keep Jewish students safe and they aren’t doing it.
