I think that is correct. He was in a coma before he died.
Some of the comments on here are repulsive. I would be willing to bet a lot of you wouldn't say these things to the faces of these ladies. Brutally retaliating against someone for a perceived slight is a part of their culture, and the fact that many of you can't respect, honor, and support that culture is indicative of the larger societal problem of racism.

I googled this incident and only saw one report by a national media outlet.
If this had been a black homeless man beaten by 5 white people, it would have been a media shitestorm...

That is disgusting, a mob attacking the man who had not been proven guilty and sentencing to a beating, ultimately leading to death, is so disgusting. Every one of these animals will stand in a courtroom and expect justice by virtue of a fair trial. Even if he didn't die was a beating like this really what these small minds found justified.
